Would anybody be interested in buying this as a print? I can make that happen.

You all remember Hypergirl, right? It was issue 11 of this here comic, but don't go looking for it, as I'm afraid I've removed it from here now.
Because, you see, I want you to buy it. You can do so right at this link here.
If you want to remind yourself of what it's like, there's an eight page preview at orangutancomics.co.uk.
Hypergirl is going places. I will post more news when I have the right details.
So. This is what I did yesterday:
I went down to Southampton on the invitation of my lovely friends from the Monkey On My Back podcast, to be artist in residence for their latest Twitter comic.
What's a Twitter comic, you ask? Well, first off all, the lovely monkeys asked for suggestions for a story premise on twitter, then held a vote for the best one- and then, yesterday, I made a comic starting from that premise, based entirely on tweeted suggestions coming in live as I was drawing.
I was drawing more or less non-stop for 12 hours (well, okay, I did stop to have dinner- but apart from that), and the comic ended up being 24 pages long (although most of those pages are only two panles- and many are single panel splash pages).
So, the winning tweet for the premise was "A guy has different superpowers depending on what music he’s listening to" from the great Warwick Johnson Cadwell - and as the winner, he was asked to provide the first tweet: "Our hero (unsupersuited?) running through streets skips through ip0d looking for Fatboy Slims Ya Mama to activate speed."
And this is what ensued...
Very, very late.
I think it's safe to say I won't be updating on the first of the month anymore for a while. I will continue to update monthly, of course. Watch my twitter or tumblr for when.
CHAPTER ONE OF A SIX (OR POSSIBLY SEVEN) PART EPIC
Co-written by Nicolas Papaconstantinou
Enjoy!
So, it's been a while, eh?
I shan't bore you with the details of the problems in my personal life that caused me to miss last month's update, instead I simply offer my apologies, and the feint hope that this month's bumper sized issue will make up for it.
I should be back on track now, and I think you can expect regular monthly updates again from here on out.
Now, the "big news" I alluded to at the end of last issue...
FORMAT CHANGE! (sort of) - from this issue on, Particle Fiction is going to be all IDEASMAN, all the time. Ideasman is by far and away the most popular thing I've ever done, and also the most fun- so I figure I'd be stupid not to just go with it. I have a LOT of stories to tell with the character and his universes, so I hope you'll enjoy the ride.
MORE BIG NEWS! This issue of PF is a CROSSOVER WITH THE MIGHTY JAMBO! If you don't read Jambo, you should. I doth command thee.
One last thing- I will be at Bristol comic con next weekend as resident alcoholic with Orang Utan Comics. Come buy stuff from me!
Yes I know 11 hasn't arrived yet. it's coming. Ian is very busy with a comic he's actually getting paid for. But look! Here's a new issue!
Also, announcement of sorts on the last page. Read to the end.
Back. Snow couldn't stop me, though it slowed me down. My laptop breaking couldn't stop me, though it nearly did bring me to tears. Spending several days in Norway couldn't stop me, though I really didn't want to come back.
NOTHING CAN STOP ME BRINGING YOU A NEW COMIC EACH AND EVERY MONTH.
EXCEPT A MILLION POUNDS. IF YOU WANT ME TO STOP, THAT IS MY PRICE. PAYPAL DAVELOVESAMANDA AT HOTMAIL DOT CO DOT UK
No PDF of this one, yet. Maybe later in the month, hopefully.Enjoy. And have a good winter holiday, if you celebrate one. We do christmas without the christ in my house. We're not big on religion, but we're big on presents and food and cheesy movies, so it's a good thing for us.
I'll see you on the first day of next year, with a new story, a new character, and a new-to-PF writer. Peace.
I really hate to have to do this. Particle Fiction #9 is done and ready to read. But I don't have time to scan it, process it, and turn it into a PDF, because I need to get travelling across London as soon as possible to stay with my other half's folks so that we can catch an early morning flight to Norway tomorrow. The only reason we have to get out and travelling NOW is because London's travel network has been completely knocked on it's side by snow.
I don't get home till late Monday night. Which means Particle Fiction #9 won't be updated till Tuesday at the earliest.
I'm really, really sorry about this.
